Who We Are

The Bluebonnet Chapter of the former Southern Building Code of Congress International (SBCCI) was organized in 1985 for the purpose to provide a professional association for building inspection and code enforcement personnel in the Central Texas Region. In 2000, the Bluebonnet Chapter joined the International Code Council (ICC) organization.

We are a professional association and a forum for the exchange of ideas. It is our intent that the Chapter will ultimately promote uniformity in the application of codes and enhance the professionalism of the membership.
