Who We Are

The Bluebonnet Chapter of the former Southern Building Code of Congress International (SBCCI) was organized in 1985 for the purpose to provide a professional association for building inspection and code enforcement personnel in the Central Texas Region. In 2000, the Bluebonnet Chapter joined the International Code Council (ICC) organization.

We are a professional association and a forum for the exchange of ideas. It is our intent that the Chapter will ultimately promote uniformity in the application of codes and enhance the professionalism of the membership.

Mission: Through cultivating relationships and encouraging education, we will protect our communities by promoting safety in building construction, code enforcement, and training.

Motto: We work for your safety

The objectives of the Bluebonnet Chapter of the ICC are to:

The Bluebonnet Chapter of the ICC is composed of code enforcement professionals and others interested in the building industry.
